Great get together to learn diamond painting! Carmen is a great teacher and she provided a comfortable atmosphere for diamond painting. The attending people and conversations were fun and I left with a cute diamond painted tote!

Teacher Carmen was excellent and I learned a lot. Venue communication for this event was poor.? The instructor came early and was very prepared but no one knew about the class. We had to do the class outside on a bench table.

Title or Location: Suspended Rust
Soft Pastel and pastel pencil, 19 x 13, Canson Mi-TeintesThis is part of an ongoing industrial series exploring atmosphere, memory, and tonal structure. The work focuses on spaces where form emerges and dissolves, creating a sense of tension and suspended stillness.

Title or Location: A Quiet Paise
Soft Pastel, 19x14, Canson Mi-Teintes This piece focuses on a quiet interior moment. I simplified surrounding elements and softened edges so the figure could emerge gradually, with atmosphere carrying most of the image.

Title or Location: The Wanderer?s Sun
Soft pastel, 17.5 x16.5 Canson Mi TeintesLayered pastel builds the cool nocturnal blues and warm amber light. This hints at one of my favorite songs. A porch glowing through mist, reflecting across rain-wet steps and suggesting a place of passage that briefly welcomes the troubled traveler.

Title or Location: I Am?
Soft Pastel 24x16 on Crescent matte board.I chose to create a monochromatic snow animal. Using layered greens?shades, hues, and tints? I wanted the leopard to dissolve into an ethereal, mineral-like winter atmosphere, as if it is emerging from the color itself.

Title or Location: Chun Li Beat Out on the Street
Chun Li beat, out on the street: This is a take on the word "street." Something that always struck me about the street fighter games and properties is their use of vibrant colors and that felt appropriate to juxtapose to graffiti street art. It stands to reason that anywhere out on the street where a fight would take place would also have street art and I wanted to reflect that here.

Title or Location: Old Light
With this quick still-life setup. I was going for that moody tonal look ? the kind that slowly appears from shadow and atmosphere with a hint of 19th-century charm. Soft pastel, 12x17, Canson Mi Teintes

I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.

Title or Location: Colin
I am Tracey, a self-taught artist from Plymouth, UK, I have been developing my coloured pencil techniques for the past year . My aim is always to capture not only the likeness of an animal but also the personality and spirit that make them so special to the people who love them.In this piece, Colin is shown resting amongst a vibrant meadow of wildflowers, his striking green eyes drawing the viewer in. The detailed fur work, delicate whiskers, and colourful floral surroundings were all carefull
